i'd seriously consider the getting in and out aspect and also the road noise aspect if you do any motorway driving. (thats if exige is anything like the elise)

yeah just think though, if you get a lotus you will end up putting it on the track and thinking why you spent so much on the skybus!

S2 Exige

Excellent condition, FLSH, 26k miles, 2 previous owners
Performance Pack, includes - sports seats, harness, twin oil coolers
A/C
Brand new 4x alloy belled disks and Pagid 42's (yet to be fitted) these are included in the price or can be negotiated if a buyer prefers to keep the car original
Lotus Stage 2 exhaust
Lotus Motorsport black fuel surround
Pipercross Induction
Yokahama A039 tyres
S* XGE private plate included
I have owned the car for 7mths and it has not been tracked by myself or previous owners. The new brakes were bought with track use in mind but unfortunately financial reasons are forcing me to downgrade. It is a fantastic car and I will be sad to see it go.
I may be interested in PX for a late S1 or early S2 around the 10k mark.
£22k

yup.... but what wrong with having a car thats fun on the road, AND very able on the track.
Just because i own a track car, doesnt mean we cant have a car that is good on track as a road car.
Plus - its fun sometimes to have two cars between us on track
PS. the skyline is also road legal.

There is nothing wrong with it at all! Wish i had to make the same tough decision to be honest! I'm just trying to think sensible; you are saying this is your Everyday car, not for track use,but for shopping etc. I just think the exige is too much of a track/weekend car and you everyday needs usage will suffer. It would be rude not to track it at least once if you get an exige!

everyday may not be 'everyday'
The houses we're looking at are within easy walking distance for Fee. So she may not need a daily car.
I dont need anything really
SO.... a wee exige blast around is looking apealing to both of us.
Fiona said something very true today.
'I cant see the point of all these gadgets and crap in cars. I want to have fun driving... i dont go into the car to pass time' Very true.
We'd both rather a fun car over a practical/comfy (possibly boring) car.
I think we've pretty much decided to plan on an exige for august time. BUT BUT BUT S1 or S2.
We dont have to keep it for ages, and can easyily chop it in for something else if needs be.
