I have £35k to play with so Lotus would be a new one but obv the M3 would be used, altho preferably as new as poss with as few miles as poss

Robbo tbh I wouldn't spend more than low 20s on an M3 - Prices will get hammered when the new model is released. I was also left feeling let down after a test drive - All of the M's I have driven have been boring and not excited me.

993's are nearly the same money as a 996 I'd love a 993 GT2, or even just a turbo
theres a reason for that, there seen as a better car speaking to owners etc

I couldn't have a TVR... as much as I love them they just wouldn't be suited to 18,000 miles a year lol

Some poeple are like that mate, many dont like to be in the position where their money is not their own (as it were) and some people, like myself, are quite happy to ahve debt so long as it is manageable

I think I could manage it no problem to be fair, but I dunno.
I'm soon to be running a second car soon, either my own or a company car and I'm pretty sure the corsa will stay with me (not really fussed for space where I am )
but I dunno, theres always that need for a nice new car which is fast and sexy

with that sort of mileage why not consider two cars?
Something TD to hack the miles in, and something lairy and megge stupid to have fun in?
I really really have no idea how people can cope with just one car!
I'm struggling with two :/
