Rob, don't be gay

I am not a fan of airbags, and never have been.

One of my cars has airbags, and apart from ludicrous fuel economy and a penchant for destroying about 400 quids worth of tires in approx 3k miles, the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it has airbags.

I've never been keen on the idea of having a pyrotechnic device a foot or so away from my face/eyes.

They are also just additional weight that I neither need nor want.

A nice 4.5 litre Cerbera would have all the safety equipment I could wish for.

Im 6ft 2, and got in and out ok.

Wasnt too bad on fuel economy, high 20s early 30s driving tidy.

Probably with the most extreme of road cars. 0-100 in 9 odd seconds IIRC and will pull a 180 top end.

Quite high maintenence, and service is quite hefty. But if your a patient person and can look past the niggles here and there, its a fantastic car.

All the people with good cars just depress me.

As I explained tho... couldnt afford a sagaris in the nick Id want as well as a decent runabout for work so itd have to be the 350...

As Vik said, an awesome range literally between £20k - £35k depending on ur type and ive seen a few minters between £31k-£35k which would leave me £4k for either a clio or a crosa or sumamt for the daily commute!

Very different car tho! Its whatever floats your boat I think!?

After driving a 400bhp+ Tuscan, there is no way I could back to a Jap 4WD altho I did love my P1!

Horses for courses, I'd rather something that does the whole package - fast, handles stupidly well, fits the shopping in/mates in back etc. Not a lot will keep up with a tuned Evo down the back roads

I totally agree with you matey and exactly the same goes for the P1 - Unbelievable package and the Evos are even better!!! And like you say, its a reliable day to day car with 5 seats too!!!!

But I think they were designed for a purpose - winning rallies and they are very clinical in the way they perform - Found the P1 a bit predictable and boring to be honest, almost drove itself! Ive found these days, its not how quickly you get down a country lane, its the amount of fun you have getting down it!

Love the sagaris, my fave TVR.

How tall are you Jay?

I'm 6' 3'' and I fit in a Cerbera with room to spare.

Im 6ft 7", i've not sat in one but the room between the stering wheels and centre console looks very tight!
