Rear ARB on the Astra makes hell of a difference. Its a classier car as well, in hindsight I think maybe should have kept that GSi and done exactly what you have done to it, its mint and they are a lot less common than the VXR.

My personal choice would be too keep the Astra even if the Clio is can be faster...
In my eyes the Astra is far a superior car but that is only my opinion..Never been keen on any Clios at all, and I would deffo say a step backwards going to the clio..
IMHO of course...

AS ian said get the astra remaped, decent exhaust feels like a different car. I drove a standard GSi the other day and tbh it felt boring compared to mine

Good problems to have
You like 1/4 mile, then the Astra is the wrong car. You want something small and light. Astra definatly isn't light, and to get substantial power from it, your gonna need to spend the ££££.
172/182, awesome cars, build quality of melted lego, but they are superb, I love them. Good engine, but again your gonna need to spend the ££ if you want to go faster. And K-tec do some nice forced induction options
Whats the budget you've got? As said, those DC2 and DC5? Integras are just awwwwwwwwessssome. Pass a blue DC5 every day and i swear I get a hard on But they are quite pricey for a car thats built to be ragged.
200SX S14 would be fun, lots of power, more power easily got for cheaper than the astra, its RWD so will fishtail all the way down the strip, which makes it more fun to get consistant times up the 1/4.
Oooo choices choices... Whats your budget?

I myself would go for the CLio , but then if you want a fun handling car i would open up the options to a Teg Type R too
