also the mr2 has a lower 0-60 because its better at launching being rwd, on the move in gear it might be a different kettle of fish

same reason my leon could beat uk spec scoobies but still had a slower 0-60 because scoobies being 4wd could lose time launching better

but to 100mph mr2 is still quicker.

its all about the driver paper figures are the perfect driver in perfect conditions they dont really count for much

see the 106 is anywhere between 17 and 20

based on my 1/4 mile 0-91 too 15.3 seconds, its only gonna take another couple of seconds max to get to 100 from there

if you work it out from them firgures steve 0-60mph is mid 7seconds. which i why i belive they are right.

probably, most i have seen are either Mint turbo versions or shagged NA versions.

0-60 means nothing anyway - Manufacturers use these times to make slow hatches sound fast! 0-100 is where its at!

But in this case even though I dont like mentioning 106GTI's, I think it would be close to an NA MR2!

yes i had to conceed that aswell but both should be a totally different drive Midengine rearwheel drive and front engine front wheel drive
