Yes defo.
Thats the only thing worthwhile that the GSi has over the Sport.

sport is just a poor car, its like th astra sport was never half of what the astra gsi was. gsi corsa will be worth more than a sport both in the same condition

So why does having the GSi interior and bumpers make the GSi so much better than a 1.6 Sport? Cos like I say thats the only major things that are different. I like GSi's, I just dont see why you think its alot better than a Sport apart from the styling

GSI is the best Corsa B... i enjoy driving the wifes gsi more than my sport if im honest
but most come with trouble, so the sport is the safe option imo

theres the engine whats differant if ya get a earlier 1, the steering wheel, the suspension, the fact they wernt actually built by vauxhall but instead it was lotus, alarm+immobiliser, front fogs, the gearbox an the list goes on

i read in total vauxhall that the gsi was orginally built by lotus an came out of the factory at some silly bhp for a 1.6 in them days, they then went bk to vauxhall an madly restricted down to 109 bhp an went on sale its no bull shit

http://www.smallblockxe.com/engine.htm bit of info on it.
lotus did have a hand in it, but there is alot more to it that just saying its the better engine!
infact if you went into all the details it is probably a more unreliable engine than the x16xe.
obviously thats all IMO!
also the gsi was fitted with both the c16xe and the x16xe.
if i was looking at buying a sport or a gsi, id get the sport for the extras it has, then if i was desperate for the look id get the gsi kit....
