I had this done about a year and a half ago, Its Japanese for Sharon, my mums name. Got it done after she passed away last February

Already had the cross done so just had the symbols added on underneath

I had it done in Japanese so that only I knew what it meant, my brother is meant to be getting the same on his inner arm

The cross needs touched up cuz I kept picking at it!

Hmmmm, mixed veiws. I personally really like the tattoo, obviuosly, so I think i'm going to go for it and have her DOB below it at a later date.

My mate had ste tattoed on his forearm in chineese, we went into the chippy and the fella in there burst out laughing, probably says egg fried rice instead of ste

so what do they do? just translate each letter? surely not as it will mean fuck all then, unless you get unlucky and it just happens to be the chinese word for cunt. Which is probably why people get laughed at.

Overheard a lad at the gym talking to his mate saying he was getting a tattoo. When his mate asked of what he said he didn't know

Was just gonna walk into the shop and pick something, nothing with a personal meaning etc just to be cool I guess

I dont think that tattoo's have to have a personal meaning tbh. although i dont think people should just go and pick one out of a book at the tattoo shop.
