I listen to every single kind of music from classical to rap i also moderately play the guitar, i can tip my hat to folk with musical talent even if i find it to be rape of the eardrums.
I dislike Amy Winehouse's music but she has a superb voice and she conquered America with it.
Pete Docherty on the other hand would be nothing without his smack habit, his voice is poor and his live shows are at times so bad to the point of being weird.
Fair play if you take meaning from his songs and he's touched you in that way that's a personal thing but if we're talking about musical geniuses he aint 1 in my book.

I hear last time they tried to make her go to rehab she said no, no, no.
I do think she has a great voice, but I don't own any of her records. The Libertines and Babyshambles are pretty good but not good enough to make me worry about one less smackhead.
