camel spider is scary shit, you tube one of those bastards
camel spiders are abit of a myth really mate, as some photos have made them look bigger and nastier then what they are.
Photo in question is of a solider hold up 2 which look as big as his leg.
do a real search on the web and you will see they are no real differance to any other spider or animal........
never seen that photo, they aren't like normal spiders, they are not venomous, they are fast as fuck and have massive jaws, the kill scorpions even after being stung... there is myths about them eating peoples feet, but like you said, they only grow half a foot long but still nasty fuckers.

That photo shows 2 camel spiders,
And beardy, YOUR FUCKING SICK IN THE HEAD MAN!
What is with people keeping these fucking things! I hate the fact that they are small enough to hide and you cant fucking find them till they crawl on you, and even then when they are big enough not to be hidden, they are obviously shit scarily in the way of every direction you want to go in.
Say for instance.
Senario A)
small spider is on your bed as you sleep, you wake, see it, jump up... check again, spider is gone... move out of house.
Senario B)
You get out of bed, there is a spider in your door way, just hanging off the side of the doorframe,
You have two choices.. You can crawl past it if space allows.. but lets face it most door ways dont allow the given 10 ft safety distance, nor will you have an authentic world war two full size flame thrower to hand when you need it.
Second choice is you sit in the corner furthest from the door way (hoping there are no other spiders) and see who starves first, you or the eight legged hairly 300 eyed fanged spindle web casting demon in the door way.
