The original advert you posted a picture of has no tick under the HDMI part.
As said, a TV can be HD-Ready without HDMI. The fact now your trying to say they sold you something which it was not (as you didn't have a HDMI port) will be pointless as the advert itself doesn't have a tick where it says HDMI!
After 5 months I think you will be very lucky to get a refund because of this, regardless of having the old advert, as it clearly does not state HDMI.
I've also checked my old Blue catalog.

This is Munchie here, ive told him HD signal is also avalible through VGA and the HD port (as this TV has no HDMI)
