I was in Bangkok from fri am and left sun night, what a mental city, so so hot and busy. Dont think ill be going back there, prefer the beaches instead.

pics are
o plan to travel a bit next year...i was in florida for a week a fortnight ago, and went to this pub for an open mic night. ended up playin and getting offered a slot one or two nights a week. i was looking at $300-$350 a each night!! so im thinking i want to go to new york or something, where they have a better music scene and play. either that or travel a bit with my guitar, playing different places so i can make up some money to keep going.
your trip looks a good one though mate. well worth it!!

As bizarre as it is, we probably passed each other on the street - where did you stay?

I was just using a cheap Nikon F801 35mm SLR I picked it up for 70 quid off eBay and a 20mm MF Nikon Lens from the early 80's - it got nicked though before I left NZ - Luckily i've got a few grands worth more kit knocking around the house here!

We only went to that road about midnight on the saturday after going to one of the 'special' shows in Patpong. We were staying in the Sukhumvit area in a hostel.
