good idea in theory terrible in practice, in GB england are by far the biggest country therefore have more chance of producing better players(which they do) scotland,NI and wales would be there just to make up the numbers
i can think of some players from each country who could maybe have a case for a game

that would be it probably and they would most probably struggle to get in for any length of time

Maloney can't get a game for Villa or Scotland, Ferguson is not better than Lampard, Carrick or Hargreaves and Boyd can't get a game for Rangers or Scotland
The 1 player that would play is Craig Gordon pure and simple. Ferguson may get in the squad as would maybe Bellamy from Wales but the crux of players on paper would be from England. Of course big names on paper don't win games as last night proved.

boyd would work well with rooney i think
rooney does the work boyd sticks it in the net
malony i think is a quality player dunno why he doesnt start for scotland
as for fergy/lampard both on par with each other imo but lamps cannot play next to gerrard

One thing I will say is regardless of whether hes bette ror not, Gordon is much moire consistant than any English keeper at present and therefore I agree he'd be first chocie IMO

in the big games in scotland he usually made stupid mistakes normally always against celtic..................hhmmmm

I've always liked him, he's got the potential to go to the top imo

You must be the only Rangers fan to think that then as the only time he's ever came up for corners when his team are getting beat is against Celtic and our fans hate him for it. I personally couldn't care less he's a good goalkeeper.
Also Lampard is a better player than Ferguson is there's not really much to debate, World player of the year runner-up and European player of the year runner-up as well as being named in numerous world teams of the year. He's also scored more goals in the Premiership than Ferguson has in the SPL, i'd say that's fairly cut and dry who the better player is.

As much as i think ferguson is top class (best midfielder in Scotland without a doubt imo) i couldnt compare him to lampard, on his day Lampard is a joy to watch, top 10 of the best midfielders that England have had i'd say.

Carson has not made a mistake like that before yesterday from all the games I have seen him in (a fair few tbh), which is why he was there last night. Questionable to put him in at the deep end in such an important game but either way was a shocker.
