People aren't going to take much notice of an advert for some boring as fuck A3 either. They will have seen a million of them before, but when they see an R8 on the tv they wil be interested. This will then kindle som desire to think about buying an Audi which will then point them in the irection of thier website where they will look at boring as fuck A3's. Job done.

I see an R8 all the time just down the road from me parked outside a car garage, I presume the owner is the guy who runs the garage.

It seems to get a lot of attention, I've seen a couple of kids having a good look round it, and also 2 policemen having a good nose at it!

Just the one i seen, could tell a mile off it was one by the LED's under the headlights.

dont the new A5's have this anyway? i seen loads of those headlights on audis near me but they arent all R8's

Yes. Also I saw an Aston Martin V8 Vantage convertible the other day and these too have the LED's in the headlights.

The first one I saw was pulled over on the side of the M40 with two unmarked police Subaru Imprezzas behind it. I think the owner might have been stretching the V8's legs a little over enthusiasticly
