Well, you'd have to take a crap load of them to pop it .
The LDLO (the lowest published lethal dose) for an adult man is 714mg/kg.
Someone like myself who is 11.5 stone (74kg), that works out to just over 105 tablets, in other words its rather unlikely that you'll die from one OD attempt on paracetamol.
Its much more likely you'll screw you're body up and be left with a horrible life instead
As much as i hate to talk about this subject, if you really wanted to kill yourself, OTC pills is probabaly one the worse possible ways.

That's the bad thing with tablets, by the time you die, you don't want to any more.
my aunty's husband is a paramedic and he deals with suicide quite often...
and this is what he says, any OD or self poisoning always results in tears begging him to help them. and for most its too late

The Tyne Bridge will display suicide warning signs for the first time in a groundbreaking new initiative by north east agencies.
They've got these on the Clifton suspension bridge in Bristol telling people to think about it and call the Samaritans. Ironically the nearest phone box is on the Portway below the bridge

He passed out and had his stomach pump.
Silly bastard couldn't even kill himself.
Change the whisky for water though and he wouldn't be here.
Last line is very sad.... Nice mate you are....

best way to kill somweone is insulin, do a shot to the big toe, will be out of the body before a post mortem can take place and they will never find a needle mark in the toes, so ive bin told

Have felt near to it once or twice a couple of years back. It's like Colin says feel like stuck in a rut and in certain circles feels quite lonely. My life was going nowhere and i'd lost contact with my 'real mates', only took a few little changes to feel a whole lot better.

I was steaming drunk, high on (insert chemicals here) fell out with my mates, blah blah lost in Newcastle & feeling pretty down. Scare the shit out of myself what could have happened if I didnt see the kebab shop. I was quite lucky tbh.
And what a kebab shop to get saved by Thew Gallery on the Quay Side is probably the best in all of Newcastle

my friends mums a nurse and she told me, i guess there may be better ways, but insulin pass threough the body in no time and she said something about the large number of blood cells in the toes healing the toe quickly showing no needle mark

remember when i was younger, mum gave me 3 little paracetamol tablets, i was well worried about what she was trying to do
dont think i could OD myself on anything though, or think about committing suicide. if something gets me down, or affects me that bad, id rather stay alive, probably become well unsociable feelin sorry for myself for a while lol and then do what i can to fix the problem. no point taking the easy way out, giving up and ending your life imo, that helps no one.

Agreed V man but it depends how your wired, what state of mind your in at the time, how much support you (feel you) have from friends and family etc etc. I regret even thinking about tbh but the way people portray it as just being an easy way kind of feels like your doing the person an injustice, you don't know how they feel, you have to be unstable in one way or another (even if it's just for a few minutes - as demonstrated by the comments about people regretting trying it) to try and top yourself.
