Because it's not strictly a sequential 'box, as the gears can be selected out of sequence, for example if you come to a standstill in 4th gear and knock it down a gear, it'll go straight to first, not 3rd, like BMW's SMG system?

I can imagine it sounding quite industrial. Bit like a cayenne turbo quite muffled :S not sure why.

diesel is good, embrace it

I want to know what it sounds like aswell. Someone made a comment about the Le Mans Audis earlier in the thread so I looked on youtube and they didn't sound bad to me All you can hear is turbo and gearbox noise

it's the same engine Tom, it won't sound much different, even if it has a completely different exhaust system
