i hate this too, i don't get paid half as much as the majority of people in my office because im still at uni. we got an e-mail yesterday because the office gay is having a civil partnership NOT a wedding and they want everyone to "chip in £30" for a wedding present.
1 im not going to his "wedding"
2 i think the guys a twat
3 £30 fucking quid!! the badger will get all most 2 grand if everyone put in that much!!

i strongly dislike the majority of people i work with, with the exception of 5 people. i wouldn't expect them to give me money for getting married.

they will be informed but it would be quite amusing
just dont understand why anyone would pay thirty quid for a wedding your not invited to. im more than likely going to take a sick day for the day of collection! i'm handing my notice in in the next couple of weeks any way! may even cite this as one of the reasons for my resignation

Group present for David's wedding it has been agreed that it will be £30 per head so we can purchase John Lewis vouchers.

I'd be grateful if you could have the money to myself by Friday 15th February.

Also, feel free to buy an individual present if you would rather not contribute to group one..........we wont talk about you :-)

Thats the e-mail i recieved. . . . im sure they won't talk about me as I doubt i'll be the only one who fails to contribute
