Sod it. It's fooked anyway.

The turbo downpipe broke a while back. Ever since I got it fixed the engine warning light's been coming on and it's lost sooooo much power it's unreal. Struggles to get to 110 these days. Probably wouldn't be anywhere as fast as your Gti
