AK your an inspiration to us all, I loved the Pug 205 how it was built for one prupose. I always think mint cars are comprimised out on track cos your always worried of binning it.
I am all for mint cars but there is a line and at the end of the day I supose "what ever floats your boat" and all that malarky.

Thanks for your interest in the project JR, and thanks to everyone else for your comments - I appreciate some of you think I'm mad
This project is 2 years old now and started off as a track day car, as I learnt more and more about the heritage behind the 'Sport' model I decided I wanted to restore it to original factory condition.... then I got a bit carried away 
I know concours is not for everyone, most people build cars to use them and enjoy them on the track. Hopefully you'll appreciate looking at this one as much as I've enjoyed building it

I know what you mean - if you built that yourself, you'd be scared to drive and ruin it.
However, in 3 years if he is ready to sell, I'd happily buy it and use it. Mainly, because it'd essentially be a 3 year old Nova, and got for another 10. Rather than buying a 'mint' Nova which is actually 13 years old.

Car wont be getting used though, so will still be in this condition. Read on PNG it wont be getting used and will be kept in a carcoon. Trailered to a couple of shows a year if that.
This will be worth thousands in a few years to the right people.

IMO i would love to be rich enough to do this as a hobby for the rest of my life 
I personally wouldn't go for somthing so old though  Maybe a Escort RST would be the oldest i'd go too or maybe a MK2 Golf GTI.
