Its not the paying back of the loan that gets on my tits, as like you say, its only a very small amount of payback rate.
Its the fact i get fuck all funding from the uni and are expected to cope  Where as some people get twice as much help as i get and spend the money on complete shit!

im in a job i like and it goes very well with my personal interests and i think that it will lead me into a career that i will enjoy. it may not land me with as much money than if i did a degree but i feel that im happier in life than if i went to uni. depends on th individual really

All I am saying is...after Land Law (which is compulsory as is Property in your LPC) if I could go back I wouldnt have chosen to do anything Property related as its very procedural most of it and it can be a bit dull...
I think my views would be too erm 'wrong/biased' to study immigration 
Property is boring atm But i think its just one of them where if you work at it and put in the time you can eventually grasp it. Although evidence takes a lot of work too

I had 2.5 years out after my A-Levels where I pissed about...then went back to uni...as a mature student  at 21!
I'm 26 next month and working in London in a law firm...you can do whatever you want to do in life...regardless of age...its down to if you have the drive and desire to do it...

Uncles a property solicitor Although he has been doing it for like 30 odd years.
I wouldnt know what else to choose though

Also land law in uni isnt "property law" as such...I do think it gives you a sound grasp of the law...I liked it in uni...Unreg and reg land...joint tenancies and Tenancy in common...
Its when you move onto your LPC where it becomes more transactional...

Hmm, you see, ive not decided if im going for the LPC yet.
Im thinking i might just grab my degree and then apply for the police.
Ive got a hard decision to make - money or job enjoyment. At the moment i want the job enjoyment (police)

5 weeks? My revision used to get underway 4 weeks before exams...starting at 3 hours a day and leading up to near on 12 hours a day right before them...
I used to draw diagrams to major topics for each module...kind of sets it out in your head whats happening...and is a lot easier to recall when planning your answer in an exam...
The diagram then jogs your memory to the different strands and its particulars...

You will be able to enter the Police at a higher grade...
BUT
It will take you years to get onto decent pay...whereas if you do the LPC you could potentially walk into a job after it as a trainee on £50,000+ a year...which rises to £100,000 a year after your 2 years as trainee...thats obviously if you come to London...
If you stayed up north most Training Contracts will be in the 16-20k bracket with a wage rise to 45-55k after it...

Whats made me more stressed is i have hurt my right hand some how and cant write much Its been 'rested' for a week now and is no better  So im stressed out over that
Done my timetable this weekend and so im going to get cracking this week with sorting my life out re: revision.

London is the place to be  But you have to be extremely lucky or very good with what you know to get in around London town.
Police i think was about 16 or 18k starting wage going up 1k a year. Then after 2 years im wanting to specialise into traffic

I tried to avoid as much as i can -
Anything with EU in it
Anything with great amounts of HR's in it
Anything with loads of contract in as i just dont succeed in this topic.
But wanted it leaning towards police topics - criminolgy
But also still solicitor based too
As you can tell, i didnt make it easy on myself

Are you going to question spot?
It isnt recommended but can be helpful on some topics....I know a girl who question spotted her entire degree and come out with a 1st...I also know another who did it and she came out with a 3rd...obviously she didnt question spot enough or was just unlucky...
Its a risky business and I couldnt leave it to chance like that...but the rewards equal the risks...

I will be in debt by
First Year -
Fees - £3k
Maintenance Loan - £3200
Second Year (current) -
Fees - £3k
Maintenance - £2800
Third Year -
Fees - £3k
Maintenance - £2300 ish
So over £17k in debt
However, I am doing Accountancy and Finance. Where I lived before uni there was no hope of getting anything in the tertiary sector that paid well at all. By living away I now have a base to move into with my GF so can get out of the sink where I used to live.
While its expensive, I agree completely with some of the views here, that if you take a degree that has some sort of direction to it, such as Accountancy, or Economics etc etc then it is well worth it, whereas people on Media Studies or Art courses are just wasters
