8v - prob be liquid pas...

well if you go for a dispac engine, these normal have the multi rib setup..

so will need to change the bottom pully to twin v, will need alt to match, and also the pas pump of an xe to match too

I have a dis-pack engine with P/S and multi rib belt/bottom pulley in a corsa with no problems.

Do u want to keep the P/S??Dosnt really matter any will be fine.

Most ppl like myself prefer the later dis-pack engine as they are newer and are more likely to have less miles but thats not garaunteed.

My mate who done the conversion made up his own P/S pump mount.

94's when the xe went out of producton iirc

IIRC the last calibra to come with the C20XE was 1995.Late spec cavalier SRI's also had the C20XE b4 the ecotec was fitted.1993-94

power is the amount of bangs, thats why to get more power people up the revs, why do you think f1 cars rev to 18k.

well i got a seh and i love it, pulls nice and its quick enough for me. i fancy doing a redtop next just so say i have done it. my 8v makes 140bhp and the same it torque (140). i still got one or two more tricks up my sleeve i can see me making 160+ bhp easy.

i had a 1/4 mile race with my corsa c20xe v my m8s 150bhp nova 2ltr 8v and mine was faster

bit gutted to day as my local garage wont do it for me and said it would be best to take it to a garage that has done them in the past and knows the ins & outs of fitting one.
