at 21 insurance will be silly money. Im 25 with 8years NCB and even now its £1k + my bmw was £300 less.
When i looked into it when i was 23 most companies wanted £2k + and some refused cover for under 25s.
I wouldnt spend that much on insurance, its dead money. The novelty will wear off after a few months, it wont even feell fast if you drive it everyday.
If its what u want do it, but be prepared to waste alot of ££££

So so true. After a while, my 320bhp didn't feel that fast anymore at all, yet people would come in the car and need to change their undies after

insurance wanted £2100 to insure me on my impreza all mods declared, fair enough its tricked out and pushing 350bhp but to i didnt think it was TOO bad considering other quotes!
on the other hand it is a lot of money - thats where having 2 cars comes in handy as i wont end up paying the full £2100 over a year
