its been a while but got a bit more done recently...just the niggly jobs that are no fun...couple of pics...


fitted the goodridge hoses to new car and stripped the 2.0litre running gear off the drivers side of the grey one...then it rained so had to down tools- decided to get that side tarted up with some new bushes from powerflex and rally design, i plan to work my way around the car upgrading everything as i go to the next level of handling/braking etc. if somebod has a whiteline rear arb for sale ive cash waiting....



also purchased this off "dangsi" as mine is dented-great seller and it was a good price, ive also taken the fiberglass bonnet up to the bodyshop to be sprayed arden blue so theres plenty of updates due for those who care to read...cheers guys

what brakes you using? ive got a spare set of v6 calipers and carriers if there any good to you?

right update time...ive been real busy with all sorts so its taken a while im afraid,since last time i have done as follows.....

stripped the old bus completely now- (including fazza's random requests lol) need to get my old rocker sent off as ive got a nice polished one awaiting me when i pull my finger out,it was stripped on the old boys drive without an engine hoist soooo....


out came the big grinder

now as for the new car...ive yet to pick my bonnet up from the paintshop but today got her back on 4 wheels and gave my garage a well needed sweeping out and tidy up, before that though i had to complete the following tasks...
finished painting the bulkhead/engine bay (going to spray the strut tops for a nicer finish) and fitting the rubber edgeing strip i cut for the removed part of the bulkhead (powercap)-then fitted new brake lines from the master cylinder that run inline with with the modifications to the bulkhead,these are something i'd decided to do in order to make a neater job- i wanted the neatest possible job with my powercap and im pleased with it to be fair.
then my day went as follows..
completed the rest of the polybushes upfront,
fitted goodridge braded hoses upfront also,
refitted the front spax coilvers,bottom arms,steering knuckles including big block hubs/discs/callipers then some wheels to move her around on.
oh and threw some new track rod ends on while i was there for what they cost its worth doing



above is my bulkhead/brakeline job- its each to there own with this job,but if i looked at corsa redtop with a powercap and the bulkhead had received "the hammer treatment" i really think id question the rest of the job, i like things to have decent room around with no rubbing/chaffing etc-but im no expert lol
