1.4 8v 75bhp same speed as a 1.4 16v Corsa please don't deny it, we were having these discussion when a lot of you were still at school.

my mate had a 106 gti, good driver aswell. He always had the edge over my gsi but when i removed the secondary air pump we was dead level

I had a 106 GTi about 7 years ago, it thrashed 1600 Corsas. End of thread, like it was in 1999/2000

Yep, only way a GSi can keep up with GTi is with a new inlet, some weight saving and the ability to hit 60mph in second like the GTi

ive only ever had 1 106gti in my corsa thats running 130bhp ish, but that was on track at silverstone in the wet and i was pushing like fuck, and the driver of the gti, who is a friend of mine was too scared to puch hard.

I did do well against a friends vts once.
