gf's car is a 1.6

i never painted it red found some red tape and stuck it on to see what it would look like, toook it off now, engine came out of a cav sri i had

Do you still need these brake line thingys I have for you - I still got them here - And do you have any Super cheap 14's or 15's about? - My wheels don't fit over my brakes.. lol

yea they fit a vauxhall, had them on my old 1.2, tyres are all that good, 2 of them mayb ok. u2u me

update on mine:


did a compression test earlier and got this

cyl 1/ 80psi
cyl 2/ 70psi
cyl 3/ 70psi
cyl 4/ 110psi


it aint looking to good

right started stripping engine out today ready for the new one on the weekend

inlet, alternator, starter, loom, rad, fan pretty much everything out ready to take engine out

good day today james mate. Just a shame we didn't get the replacement engine in. Roll on tomoz, and finger's crossed you get the coil for it :-) i'll post the progress pics up tomoz. . . . . And one of your war wound. . . . . Bit of advice to anyone messin with engine's . . . . . Don't head butt one lol especially a thread stickin off the inlet. . . . . Ay james lol.

update for u james

pics!

1st of all, the job was to get the dead engine out


james angry with inlet. james + hammer =


well that soon came off

and we eventually got the dead redtop out with leaving the gearbox in.....nightmare



then the other job was to take the gearbos off the new one and thats when james had a bot of a tiff with his new block....

was alot worse 5 mins later haha

so the gearbox came off



and then james had to pick his misses up from work, so the day came to a stop
and left his garage like this


hopefully tomorrow the replacement c20xe will be in mounted up and plunbed up, then its a case of loom, and gettin the coil for it
