I wouldnt say that, however I dont think theres a 'cheap' option!

I was quite surprised with the cost to be honest I thought it would be more than norm....but not that much more!!

What gains do you reckon you'd get over a powerflow, or similair, custom job?

M3 does not sound like a fucking Cav Gsi

Its raspy yes, but its also a straight 6 not a 4pot
P.s OJC posted the new M3 which as i found out last night when a dude tried to race me, sound like nothing i have ever heard before in my life imagine a chevy, having sex with a 325i, and at the same time fingering a moose whilst on board the shuttle Atlantis

Seriously

probably a bit more as apparently they are dyno tested for more expensive cars, thats why they cost so much.

An exhaust system dyno tested? No shit

Only benefit is quality as price rises.

As jr stated his corsa exhaust system originally cost 1k my btb system on my old nova was £1200 Thats a full system inc the manifold custom made from grade 304 stainless beautifully tig welded and mandrel bent to exactly the same high spec as a supersprint or milltek as per stu's rs6.
Granted there is a fair bit more work to construct an exhaust on the m3 but at over £1k for a backbox and topping £3k for a full supersprint system thats a complete joke imo.

Its worth a look on the z3mcoupe forum as there were a few owners on there testing the options of going the custom made exhaust route as there are limited (expensive) aftermarket options on those also.

If it was me I'd be swaying towards the csl style carbon airbox as the induction noise on the s54 lump is spine tingling.

again though you have to pay bmw tax on those too.

Its the rarity of the cars that pushes price up as well for all the R+D work.

I dread to think what they will cost!

What is it that the CSL has to make the extra power anyway.
