All

Joe - I have a 36mm socket You're a bit far though

Btw, I've tried getting my sump plug off 3 times but it keeps defeating me Will it come off easier when the engine's cold? Also, where can I buy a new one from with a different head It currently has a T40 sized hole in it.

The socket I bought from Halfords with a T40 in had better work better, after paying £4.39 for it

My sump plug is a 19mm bolt

Try it with the engine cold but be warned it'll take forever for the oil to come out.

My Punto one is an 18mm, it was tight as fuck, so I slipped a bit of 22mm copper over my ratchet for a few extra inches leverage, did an oil and filter change, de greased and pressure washed the underneath and tightened a boost pipe off off the scissor jack from the Doblo

Hadn't thought of whacking a bolt in there. I'd be a bit worried about it scraping though, the flexi pipe has hit a bump at some point and the sump can't be more than 3-5mm higher than it

That's why I wanted to do it when warm Unless I could loosen it a bit and then get the engine going Probably a stupid idea though that will result in a siezed block
