if you had an L type piece welded to the bottom of the plate so people have th eoption of drilling a hole or two in their arch to bolt securly, it would certainly be alot better and improve the stiffness of the shell. This would also make it alot safer if you want to use it as a harnes bar. (seen people use the thin omp braces as harnesbars. like thats going to hold lol)
