Right, sorry to dig this up again, I've now got 2 pages long of questions + a few more in my head to start turning into tutorials - going to start grabbing relevant images during jobs I have booked in over next fortnight or so, and put text to it all when I have time.

Going to ask once more for any more suggestions, then I'm going to close it at that.

Machine polishing I'm going to link to the DW guides tbh as they are extremely comprehensive and therefore would be silly for me to try and replicate.

Cheers

the only thing i can think of is getting the grubby muck out of door/sunroof/window seals etc.
I seem to wash a car but then pull more grime out of the seals when it comes to polishing.

When you have about 4-5 layers of wax on youre car, you need to "strip" it off, and start again. How do you strip it off?

Also, if i was to buy a cheep machine buffer, which one should i buy, and how easy is it to scratch the car even more with one?

Clay bar will do most of it, then followed by a good polish. There are other ways, but for a "domestic user" these are the easiest ways. You don't need to strip it off once you reach that limit, only when the finish starts to deteriorate.

Also, if i was to buy a cheep machine buffer, which one should i buy, and how easy is it to scratch the car even more with one? DON'T imo! Cheap ones are useless and create buffer trails which can only then be removed using a proper machine polisher

Rather large list to work through now lol - just a case of finding the time!!

Think it'll be a case of uploading 1 or 2 at a time!
