Shit scared of the buggers! Just thinking about it gives me the shivers. Anyone remember the thread a while back with a massive one that ate a bird?

Their poisonous buds aren't even powerful enough to penetrate top layer of skin.

We had a huge one that liked living under the tumble dryer. He was called George.
He wouldn't fit under a glass, which is preferred method of disposal My sister had him terminated her way.

What about them fake black widows? They've killed people from one bite.

right-o
Common Huntsman found just about everywhere including airvents in your car
Sydney Funnelweb, owner of Atraxa-Toxin, one of the nastiest venoms to man. Trust me its not much fun when your dog brings a female into the kitchen and drops it.
Redback, found in garages everywhere. Found a lovely example underneath my bike seat waiting for me to sit on it

one of the lasting memories of spiders from when i first moved here was a Huntsman dangling from the ceiling fan. They are not dangerous at all other than a bite but bugger me trying to move the thing with a broom and newspaper just made a thud noise everytime i tried. Tough bastards
