i work on a production line building diesel engines at ford motor company.

i like my job as it's active and wehave good banter. can also wear our own clothes so don't need a uniform and can listen to our ipods and i'm normally on the internet on my phone most of my shift.

only downside is i do 3 shift work (1 shift every week) but that's why they pay me so much and overtime is good at the moment.

I work for Leica Geosystems Ltd as a Service Engineer.

Pro's: Interesting work, I have to stay in Switzerland every now and then, money is alright, isn't very labour intensive, people I work with are alright, good boss, earn more money depending on your ability.

Con's: None yet.

Incentives: Loads more to be learnt, could become self employed one day and have my own workshop, money improves with the more training I recieve, other companies in this field pay better than here.

I'm an 'architectural assistant' which basically means im on my year out working on my path to 'architect'. Starting year 5 of 7 back at uni in september. I don't really feel like going back to uni at the moment, it's interesting and fun designing buildings and very satisfying seeing something from sketch to built reality
Wait until next week when the K man is back, he knows it annoys me and he likes doing it so will sometimes do it for me

7 years I thought 2 years at college was long enough

Yeah, how about that I'd have thought it'd be 99% mechanics or something.

I work for a small Ford garage, tyre fitting mostly but I do other things also. Only part time at the minute, I work 8-12 so I have the best of both worlds. I'd rather be full time but there just isnt enough work at the minute, bare in mind my work is in a village in the middle of no where

I don't think there is actually any more Plant Room changes, maybe a extra tap on the outside by the pond though!

7 years is the minimum, depending on how long you take to get the required working experience! Definitely a long run, over half way though

I'm a Civil Litigation Solicitor working for large Insurers and Insured Professional Clients.

Do I like it? Yes the pay is fantastic and the perks are amazing. Good qudos too.

What don't I like? Sometimes can be a little mind numbing.

Not got a clue, and you just add in how many £ worth you want to buy.

Thing is, surely the markets low at the moment. I only have 100, but might up that to 200, or even 500. Guess i'll have to check.

But the way I see it, they aint gonna go bust, and surely the share prices should rise?

I work for my local halfords store on the parts desk and have worked my way up to one of the main fitters.

I do really enjoy it, as each day is different, every customer is different and its nice to make a sale to the awkward ones most of the time.

Plus I work with a great bunch of lads, the manager could do with having abit more of a back bone but otherwise everythings fine there.

Ive been here 4 years and didnt really realise how long ive been there, im part time and have been since i started, but they gave me full time hours but was down as extra hours so they could save money on holiday or something along those lines, when the recession kicked in i lost alot of hours and money took a beating and was on £250 a month and couldnt live on that.

Lucky for me everything pulled through and Im back on full time hours and Im normally always outside just fitting everything which Im rather happy doing.
Don't plan on being here forever bt at the minute i really cannot find anything better.
