Thats take home. I take so much as its a consultancy agency, then take payment fee's etc and manage my expenses blah blah.

Ends up being a fair wedge more because of days like yesterday and today, and whenever other people go on holiday, plus time spent on writing up policies for people at different sites. Ussually claim an average of 28 - 30 hours a week.

sounds like a strange company, so they just match your skill set to whatever jobs they have going and they charge you out regardless at 30 boys an hour?

Nail on head pretty much. Running contracts with loads of sites in essex and if a job needs doing that you specialise in then they get you there to fix it plus ppm and other bits so its busy

this is exactly what I want to move away from I think. I'm quite sick of being a third party working on networks that arent mine, I'd rather work for a big company that I can manage the whole network for.

as much as I like looking at 6th formers, they dont pay as well and I'd be expected to do monkey shit. Network Manager generally means DO EVERYTHING PERSON and hardly any networking involved.
