Well my mrs and me started out as best mates, and went through our teenage years together as mates, then about 3 years ago she ended up confessing she liked me and we ended up sleeping together and seeing each other sometimes even though she had a fella. Then they split up and we got together for a bit then about 2 weeks later it went sour, she got another fella but a month later she was sleeping with me again. anyway a new year started and she realised she kept coming to me as she knew we were perfect together. Now we have been together for 2 years and are looking for a place together early next year.

If shes a good friend, you could hook up and try it out for a bit - if it doesnt work you could call it quits and go back to being mates. Worst comes to worse she gets phased out your group and whenever you see her you wont wonder what might have been.

Did the whole sleeping with a mate thing when I was at uni then it became serious and being imature as I was neglected it.

Now its one of my biggest regrets. I wish i had gotten with her now rather than fucked it up when I was younger as she is deffo the nicest girl i've ever been with.
