I don't think it matters how much the ring costs. And I also think it depends on the couple, as to how long you should be together before you get engaged. I've been with Eck for almost two years now and I'm totally not ready for that AT ALL.

I got engaged when i was 22
were together for nearly 3 years i think. Been engaged year and a half now
Cost me a 5 Days in Monaco and a £400 ring.
Not into spending loads on a ring, its a tiny bit of metal and a diamond that she'll probobly lose anyway

i got engaged 3 months after our first date, and spent 180 quid on her Engagement ring. Been together 10 years now and married for 2. Couldnt be happier, just shows its not all about money and what you spend on a ring

What age were you when you got engaged? - I was 19
How long were you with the other person for? - We had been together 3 years when we got engaged[
How much did you, or would you think is the right amount to spend on a ring? - I can't remember exactly how much my ring was, it was around £1300. I don't think there is a right price, its all down to what your g/f likes and how much you can afford

As long as you spend a min of £1500 on a dress (in one of my shops) then I dont car if the reception is in McDonalds after tbh.

Depends how much you want to spend. When I got married we had a cheap do, think the total was about £1k and over 1/2 of that was the dress. (A lot of people thought that dress was expensive but I was quite happy with the price )
If me and my current g/f get married she want's the big wedding so I'm happy to give her that once we've bought a house etc

Turnover of well over £1m would argue otherwise

Yeah me and the mrs had a look at your website. She wasn't liking the look of any of your sale ones so I'm expecting to pay a lot more this time round

I'd demand a payrise if the shop you work in makes that much

I'm not allowed to look obviously but she knows exaclty what she wants. If she sees anything she likes I'd want her to see them in person before I give her the cedit card
CS discount?
