I work in public health. Raising awareness of cardiovascular disease and promoting early identifaction to GPs in Barnsley. Using a collaborative methodology (in theory!).

I didn't know what to do, ended up going a degree that I had an interest in, and this is where i've ended up. Still don't know what i'd like to do.

Im a time served Baker in a Bakery.

Been there for 9 years.Basically didnt want to go back to school so started looking for jobs,and found the above.

The hours are crap(3am-11.15am tuesday-friday,then 10pm-6.30am friday night.Work every 2nd monday @ double time pay.
Wages are awesome for the amount(or lack of) work i do lol.

I'm a Naval Architect; I design military and commercial boats upto 23m in length.

I studied Naval Architecture for 4 years in Southampton before leaving and applying here; been here for 3 years this week

some days are better than others and I get a lot of time on the water running trials and testing of new builds. Money is reasonable but I do put in a lot of extra hours with travelling to and from test sites/meeting deadlines etc which I don't get overtime for

Project Engineer for an offshore crane and mechanical handling company. Did a degree in Mechanical Engineering for 4 years - I think I for the job as my bosses son has the same name

Job has it's days as any other job would, wouldn't change it though, opportunities for offshore work are too good
