The horror of clio 200 -white is the only colour I would consider....just hate the front end...looks worse in the flesh than it does in photos

I like the women at works green 200...

Looks evil. I would own it.

She says its terrible on fuel though, and uses more than her old Astra VXR, but its bloody good fun to chuck around.

As a daily drive, i'd think the astra is better tbh. More torque lower down.

we went to renaultsport track day about a month ago and renault had bought a few cars including a prototipe of the new megane sport!

the new clios didnt look to bad, i dont remember seeing them and thinking thats horid, i am not a fan of the new megane yet!

soon as the day dried up the megane r26r that were there were really fast,

2 people took me out in there, one was stage one tuned and was really good! i thought we were going pretty fast till he pulled over and let the 3-4 r26r that were following past that we were holding up, lol

then anther guy took me out in his stage2-3 tuned one, 260-270 bhp on worn out road tyres and it was also damp but still handled the power beta than my astra in the dry would! lol

was VERY impressive!

I didn't say I love it, I said it looks okish. Its far from pretty but in Black or White its just about acceptable Any other colour it looks disgusting

why does that clio 200 have unpainted plastic mirrors and side mouldings? i've seen one for sale in liquid yellow for 17k aswell. sod paying that for a car with unpainted bits on the sides.

astra vxr's seem to handle ok as standard, same as mine really. lowering springs and good tyres always seem to make a huge difference.

i put eibachs and vredestein ultrac sessanta's on mine. whole different car.

i have a bog standard VXR and the handling certainly isnt terrible, but at the same time could have been made better at the factory for not much effort or cost

fuel wise i use about £200 a month with mixed driving, doing about 30 miles a day and average about 25 mpg

if your looking at the second hand market you can pick up early models with no extras and over 50k in most cases for around 9k and upwards

Mine is on Eibach Sportlines and has a RARB and handles like its on rails. The understeer has gone, and its now oversteer I get when pushing.

Mines stage 2 and has a "tweaked" EDS map from MPG in Cheshire. It goes so well. Just pulls and pulls.

I'm looking again to get one myself. Was previously looking at 08 plates for £15-16k but don't want to spend that much any more.

Seen a nice one advertised recently - 06 plate 26000 miles - 11k.

Sooooo tempted. Still miles better handling than your run of the mill car and more powerful than most of its rivals.

Mucho cool

that sounds like a bargain andy if it is in good condition

i just paid 13.5k for an 06 plate 40000 miles with full dealer history, full leather, bluetooth and climate control. if you go for on 07 onwards it should come as standard with the black dash and keyless entry/start

if y

Its apparently in very good nick, but no extras at all. Just the standard car plus climate I think.

I'd love keyless entry, but I'd sooner a grand or two in my pocket as well!

Only trouble is that its 175 miles away
