it may do - weather forecasts show cold for ages, so the chances of it all melting are small at the mo - may end up getting an oyster card to get to work - 90% of people on the road are useless when it comes to snow, and i dont want to risk driving in it

Rebooked to Manchester tomorrow. If that's cancelled again I can go somewhere else. Trouble is that the alternatives from Munich are either Edinburgh or London, both 4 hour journeys on top of the flight itself.

My parents live in Manchester. There's one flight, it leaves Manchester, comes here then flies back. So the plane's stuck there.
MAN was shut completely earlier.

We've had it today. My dad's just been out to the shop, said there's been no gritting done, main roads are terrible cos all the traffic's just packing it down and turning it to ice. Gonna be a nightmare tomorrow if it doesn't clear. My aunty came back from Manc this morning and said only parts of the motorway had been gritted
And that's the same stretch of motorway that we'll be using a few times tomorrow
