That sounds likes its due to a flooding issue that they have. Apparently its normal for them not to start straight away and they say after 10 seconds of constant cranking and no go then you should be worried

You really must LOVE them to want to own one. True
I used to work at a Mazda dealer and some of the older models ie 52/03 plate cars were in getting rebuilds. Owner error
Then there's the oil pipes recall. True
They use shit loads of fuel and oil and they are not even remotely quick cars which IMHO is fucking pointless. False and just your opinion
Oh and they sound shit too. Again, just your opinion
Sure they used to look smart..Opinion
they handle really well and the interior is a nice place to be True
but there are SO many other cars to buy for the money i don't see the pount in them. Opinion
RX8 or a 350Z???? No contest.
No contest at all, if you want a proper car buy the Mazda. If you want a fat, heavy lump, 350Z.

But to be honest, if you're looking to spend between 6 and 8 grand, I'd look at RX7s. Get one that's been well looked after, with all the right reliability mods and it'll do you well.
Plus they have the power to match the looks, and will return similar MPG to the 8, even with the turbo setup, provided you don't drive like a loon.

I had a shot in a Nismo, felt sluggish and reluctant to change direction. Like trying to ride a shire horse.
I'd go for this personally:

Probably just everything done bar taking the block apart. I know Jit and Jaydee, wouldn't be a pikey affair where they're involved.

The high tax band makes them an unrealistic proposition to be honest. Over 200 quid for six months?
Fuck. That.

I used to work at a Mazda dealer and some of the older models ie 52/03 plate cars were in getting rebuilds. Owner error Nope pretty much 99% that came in were FSH and reg topped up so
Then there's the oil pipes recall. True
They use shit loads of fuel and oil and they are not even remotely quick cars which IMHO is fucking pointless. False and just your opinion It's not false at all...they are NOT quick cars and it's been proven time and time again that they use a shit load of oil and petrol compared to other cars..that IS a fact.
Oh and they sound shit too. Again, just your opinion No they REALLY sound shit.

So you agreed with all the good points i put about them but diasgree with all the PROVEN data? You need to open your eyes man.
And as for the Nissan Vs Mazda debate?? lol It really is no contest.
What i know about RX8's comes from the guys who have spent the last near 7 years working on them and they will tell you to avoid them like the plague. You having a few mates that have maybe bought a good one dosn't mean a lot IMO facts are facts.
