Yes they do Jam but they don't quite work.

They tend to make the headlights stand out a bit too much and look untidy/wrong because the change between light and black becomes a bit too abrupt.

They look almost as odd as Morettes.

Which really, mine needs from a practical standpoint (full beam units removed for air ducting) but will probably never have because they are so overpriced and look like a pair of sore thumbs.

She's anything but boatesque Lord Faddington Smythe.

Nine months, 19 hours and 40 minutes to go now anyway.

The RS is gay. The Rover isn't. And it cost me more.

The RS will need a bit more doing to it to get it roadworthy so the V8 will probably be the first of the two that's back with a vengeance.

My life has been French flavoured for too long.

Hardly.

They built 893 of em.

They are the first Rover V8 to be built since 1987 and the last RWD or V8 Rover EVER to be built.

They come with the engine from a Mustang, the gearbox from a Holden HSV and the diff from a Cerbera, plus they have a combination of BMW and AP hardwear on the brakes and Bilstein and Eibach hardwear on the suspension.

Oh and they have six dampers.

Spend a few hundred quid on X Power silencers and it sounds almost like a NASCAR.

Spend a few grand (well six if i'm honest) at Dreadnought and you can have 412 bhp and 420+ lb ft that you can use all day long. Or, if you don't mind wearing stuff out quicker or upgrading some bits, you can have 600+ BHP and 600+ lb ft for the sake of a different crank pulley and a remap.

Kind of puts the fast but gay shopping car in the shadows.

Kind of looking forward to getting the green bitch crated up and Chinook'd to Callander/Perthshire and then back again with a nice Kenne Bell blower strapped to the top of the engine and then popping over to the 'Green Hell' to try holding the arse out round the Carousel or however they spell it over there.

It is the most sideways car i've ever driven that doesn't have a live axle or that isn't a manual Porsche 928 or a TVR.
