1.6 vs 1.8 more interesting
Yeah I won't argue with that, but it will be interesting to see how different it really is.

not realy, id rather see a 11 second nova

part is down to driver/launch

2.0 redtop will be low 15
id say a 1.8 high 15/low 16

True, the driver will make a lot of difference, but it will end this debate that seems to come up every time someone says the words "one point eight" with real world times rather than people's word and speculation.

Not all XE'd Corsas are the same speed. Depends on the shell you used for the conversion, some are heavier than others.

I went from a 1.2 16v and had paid for all the work to be done. so either way it would have cost the same so i wanted the 1.8.

I doubt it will be faster than a XE with the right drivers in.

But they have there good points, like great low down power, Variable inlet, cost less than xe, less weight, smaller greabox, pull well to 120

one bad point is the sump sits very low when lowered.

They are very far from being high Rpm engines.

I was under the impression they are near enough the same ratio but the F13,15 stands for the strength of the internals, except some f15's had a lazy 5th gear (140)
