Was probabaly worth 5500 private at a push if i fixed all the niggles due to having no service history. Dealer took it as it was so saved me money and hassle Came up Hpi clear though. Will prob be shoved into auction once I send them the logbook.

yeah i wondered why such a low price for an anniversary as they go for alot more, remember when my step dad was looking into getting one they were a hell of alot more, although went for the v6 option in the end, lovely motors though

Yeah they do command a high premium over the other golfs. Luckily I've only lost about 6-700 on it in 2.5 years whichisn't too bad

Not bad, i'd say its bloody fantastic!! I lost about £5k on my golf in a year!!

Good buy, we looked at some ginger ones but settled for blue when we eventually found one.
Worth the money just for the noise IMO.
