my uncle had a remapped Fabia vRS on a standard clutch. was rapid!!!

Thats why like revo stage 1 maps are only a certain hp, so you dont have to go for a clutch. Eventually like every car it will need a clutch.

A certain red ibiza did a 14.7sec 1/4 at santa pod with just a cc map, no uprated clutch, and afaik thats the quickest any stg 1 pd130 has done the 1/4 in

How many mk4 PD130's have under 70k miles nowdays like? I struggled to find a low mileage one for a good price 2.5yrs ago!!

I wouldnt waste money with remaps etc, its a decent car & does the motorway run well, mine wasnt bought for performance.

Depends how its been driven tbh, my dads fabia which is on about 110k is fine, where as the flywheel is going in my 75k ibiza!

how much do the golf weigh then? my fabia weighed in at 1260kg. i m always thinking about getting a petrol car, R32 golf or something, but for what i get out of my car at the moment it just doesnt make sense.
50mpg on the 50 mile round trip to work, comfy, fun and something a little different. Oh and come insurance renewal £380!! Not bad considering.

My Vrs is up for sale. 04 plate black revo remap 170bhp and 290 torques 100k great car, on kw coilovers too work 800

My vrs is fine on a standard clutch too. Dont need to uprate it for a stage 1 remap

mines fine too, never slipped and pulls strong on stage 1!
