could have one giant feast to finish them off?

or there'd be some space for them as the fields and crops used to fatten them up wouldn't be needed.

My old dear tried to pass off quorn as chicken in fajitas without telling us, you can tell the difference a mile away.

Where do you get the protein that is in meats?
I think not eating some sort of meat is quite unhealthy.

quorn is protein.

the main things that are missing from an omnivore diet are:

- B12
- iron
- cancer
- heart disease

"The study of more than 500,000 middle-aged and elderly Americans found that those who consumed about four ounces of red meat a day (the equivalent of about a small hamburger) were more than 30 percent more likely to die during the 10 years they were followed, mostly from heart disease and cancer. Sausage, cold cuts and other processed meats also increased the risk.

Previous research had found a link between red meat and an increased risk of heart disease and cancer, particularly colorectal cancer, but the new study is the first large examination of the relationship between eating meat and overall risk of death, and is by far the most detailed. "

Interesting indeed, luckely I don't have red meat that often, I like the good old chicken and fish so cancels it out.

Well Day one is over! I went to Tesco at lunch time and stocked up on vegetables, fruit, non-dairy sunflower oil spread, rice and Quorn stuff.

They have got a 3 for £5 offer on Quorn Sausages/Burgers/Grills/Chicken pieces etc. which was nice as its bloody expensive (Will report back when I've tried it!).

For lunch I had poncey bread with the non-dairy spread, humous and peppers and a porition of mango.

It was nice but the spread is completely taste free! About the only thing that had any flavour was the humous lol!

Last night I made myself a Aubergine curry and lemon rice, served it up with a ghee-free naan, was pretty bloody nice actually!

I gave the dairy-free coffee mate a try yesterday too, VILE!

Feel starving this morning!
