I can't believe some people managed to pass with less than 4 or 5 lessons. Theres a lot more to driving than just the controls - like judging the speed of oncoming vehicles and working out lane discipline and stuff.
Hardly something most people will pick up in a couple of hours.

It took me a while to get parking, and still not very good at it

I was on about my 35th lesson, my dad told the instructor to hurry the fuck up and stop pussying around. We got to about 40th and he was still barely showing me how to do manuevers, so we stopped doing it because they were getting money for me driving a car around town, learning nothing.
I got insured, got some L plates and went in my own car with my dad learning, passed first time.

funny thing about my test was I was being very very careful, then he asked me to reverse round a corner, anyway it was a fucking 90 degree straight sharp corner, I went half in the middle of the road before ending up against the path nice and snug, I thought I cocked it up, so the rest of the drive, I stopped driving carefully as I thought I cocked up and was driving "angry". but still passed, lmao

I had 28, but that was only because I kept doing the lessons while stoned
