dont think so, from wot salvage guy said was that insurance wanted to repair the car but for wot ever reason the owner was kicking up a fuss so in the end they paid out, meaning it becomes car d

stolen recoved cars go under car e or summit, which never shows up on records!

i been pretty busy:-

spent £680 at renault on
new cup badge
new bump strip for back
new rear 1/4 panel
new ren sport sill strip
new seat cover

£80 on abs module being re set

£7.50 on code for radio

about £70 on paint

£20 to get rear 1/4 window taken out and put back in

think thats it!

its really dirty in pics but you get the idea.....

altogether with other little bits i would say its cost around 1k to repair!

i would say compared to one same age, mileage spec and colour etc prob saved 3-4k!

but being realistic the car is prob worth 2-3k less with it being cat d i guess!

suits me, i basically got a 18moth very low mileage car for some price a high mileage 4 year old one! if i dont keep it mum will have it off me!

Spot on as always with your work mate, 1/4's are easy enough to do on these aint they. My next car will more than likely be another crash damaged one, its too easy lol. Mate of mine has a 57 plate Megane Sport 225, with about 20k on it, book price is around £11k, owes him around £7.5k all done and fixed. Some bargains to be had.

Yeah definetly, if I had the skills to do it I'd be buying crash damaged cars all the time!
