I would do that but to do it properly you need fairly good access to the data and there's no one I'm currently aware of who is both trustworthy enough to be given this and skilled enough to do stuff like big database queries without slowing the site down too much.

Edit to say - current staff are already working hard enough so they're all out.

thing is its up to the person selling or scamming and the person buying or being scammed. Its not the responsibility of people who run this site.

maybe people with the warning under their name shouldn't be able to post anywhere but the disputes section and u2u?

They would ask for it to be removed even more.

And access to u2u only is actually the opposite of what is previously suggested that they shouldn't have u2u as they use it to pursue wanted ads.

The contact isn't the problem, the fact people who are handing over money are too lazy or dumb to look the profile up is the problem.

It seems crazy that they're allowed to post new adverts while being investigated.

so just to clarify it. Scamming people and giving those people asking for their money back abuse, is not a ban? Care to explain why a user like this jay is allowed to use the site and post for sale threads still? I think you are making the wrong kind of statement to all the scammers.
