Chase and status can smb, their set was boring last night at detonate whereas Hype and Andy C were awesome. Roni Size chose to play some hip hop mid set, the nobber.
Shows how much I was paying attention last night, it was actually Sub Focus who were on and boring me, they can also smb.
goin after the money and going commercial, sub focus is still a ledgend and produced some fantastic stuff in the past

Yes, I like the new stuff, but I see where your coming from 100%. Back when I was in school 98-03 we used to always listen to the stuff from early 90's onwards. Still good to hear it to this day. Its like pendulum bought dnb to the main stream and have taken all the credit for it.

IMO - 90% of all DnB that has ever been made is shit......the remaining 10% is amazing.
There has been no good DnB tunes made in the last 10 years
Dubstep has very little to do with DnB from what I have heard of it.
Pendulum are good for middle class people to dance to at a festival and imagine how good it would be to actually be part of a scene that had some credibility attatched to it and not just be all about the money- then they realise they have paid £300 to be there and the moment is gone.
Moaning about how bad modern DnB has got is boring though - it was good while it lasted, but its gone now - happens to all good musical movements.
Expecting radio one to produce a good music programme is laughable too - they havnt got a clue.

nah- its over ---- its been ruined like all music by trying to make it for the masses rather than the people who liked it to start with. The badness of the new stuff ruined the goodness of the old stuff for me.

You are speaking far too much sense for my liking, can we resort to just insulting each other instead?

problem is, there isn't any decent stuff coming out of the UK anymore. Too many nancy boys liking shit music.
IMO, there is some BRILLIANT stuff coming out of Auz and NZ now. Just remember, although Pendulum are heavily mainstream, they are also aussies from Perth. And Salt in the Wounds is an unbelievably good track.
KMA you pommy bastards!

Had a very very short listen to a bit of the Grooverider section (I think at 1045ish), sounded good from what I heard, so might have a download and see what it's actually like.
