How old if don't mind me asking with how many NC?

I was paying £450 on the TT at 23/24 so if could get the M3 for around £600ish at age 24/25 I'd be rather happy!

Very nice cars, looks, presence, performance,

I was in my mates one when we raced an evo 8 360... after 120mph the evo couldn't keep up!

MPG is insane when ragging it... my mate managed to get it down to 7mpg

Went to see one today.

I think they're lovely cars, completely opposite to your evo though, they portray a far more "mature image" if you get me, even though they have similar (slightly worse) perfomance than the evo.

Some bloody tasty cars in this thread, would love one in a few years time when I can afford to run and insure one, just did a mock up quote for when Im 21 with 3 years ncb and isn't too much more than my Gsi is to insure (based on insuring my Gsi at 19 with 2 years ncb)

Ive been out in one before and was amazed at the power, just soo much pull and really put me in the back of the seat

Do want

eck i think u really need to go out on test drive in one, im being honest here, id say your evo is alot faster, if you buy an m3 and you intend to drive it how it should be driven then i advise getting some upgraded brakes as the standard m3 stuff is shocking and expensive to replace! they should of come with 4 pot calipers from factory the car is just too quick and heavy for single pot calipers front and back

m3sport.co.uk soon

The m3 in my opinion, is a civilised, mature, good looking sports car.

As already mentioned, rear springs snap on them for fun. Get after market ones and you're sorted.
Fuel, not great. But, its a 3.2 straight six, so what would you expect?
SMG II gearbox is great. Perfect blend of fun time and lazy time. Downshifts sound pro, and you get launch control too.
Servicing, not thattttt bad. I had inspection 2 on it not so long ago and that cost me £800ish. It is the big service though.
Brakes, they do the job, but they are very soft.

Plenty of choice out there. Loads of different colour combos and specs.
