Most 172/182's steering wheels melt aparently, mines not too bad and my thumb grips are intact stil.
Found some trim and handles on ebay i shall purchase them and delay Tom painting his M3 for another few days

It isn't that hard to do yourself mate! I was going to redo mine but havn't got the time etc..i think the material is cheap now and all you nee is the adhesive and patience

Alan the Wheel off the 197/200 fits, airbag wont work but the wheel itself is sooooo expensive. I dont want to remove the one i have because it has the cruise controls on it, ill find a pic...

I dont hate it it just lacks something. if i had the money it would be the treadlines and a half leather half alcantara dash with better speakers and a tad more sound deadning

Id get the wheel retrimmed, mine perished when I was at the ring - hot day + sweaty hands = ruined rubbish renault steering wheel.

one of my fav things about mine were the controls on the wheel! I'd say retrim the wheel but in a different. Colour? And piano black trim all day long

UPDATE
I was browsing the forum looking for interior ideas and spotted some bits for sale, so i ordered myself a present
Real carbon fibre dash strips with gearnob and steering wheel insert. These are pictured with stickers on but will arrive blank, i am going to get some yellow stickers made up to go on them. Reckon it looks fantastic
here we go:
