i know but you owned something alot better since owning a gsi so in essence will make the gsi look more bland as you have owned something far superior now......... if you get me

like ur clio by the way dude

i was looking at the coupes and they are very well priced, just wasn't sure whether they are too heavy compared to the gsi.

weight of the gsi i think is 1250kg's? my focus was almost 1400kg's. bhp/tonnes is nearly the same so can't be that bad.

Could always look at a SRI turbo like mine, much cheaper to buy and insure than the GSI, just don't get the nice seats

Ive enjoyed every minute of mine anyways, agreed the handling isn't the greatest, but ive come from a string of pegueot 106's to this now. Need me a RARB!

sportboy the reason the calibra is more fun is because the c20xe turbo engine is more performance orientated than astra gsi engine feels......

My calibra was lowered with large wheels powerflex bushes etc so it was fun for a heavy car. But the main factor was there was feedback from the engine, pedals, chassis etc...

ok maybe its down to gearboxes then nic i dont no.... but a stock xe engine revs very fast in my opinion compared to alot of other cars ive driven including puma's, focus st170, astra gsi, 106 gti's, leon cupra r's etc etc they all seem to rev slow which to me is'nt how a performance engine should feel. it should feel feisty and willing to go

Had one about 4 years ago, handled badly as standard but a set of Eibach Sportline springs and Koni shocks along with being properly set up transformed it.

Didnt find any pain from the seats, and got used to not seeing out the back window after a while.

Looks to be a lot of rough ones out there now, worth holding out for one with sunroof and HIDs tbh.

Oh and I was paying £700 to insure it FC at 21.

a standard xe doesnt get round revs in gears in a calibra/cav gsi all that quick if you want to compare it in an equivelant weight car really.

Although its pretty much the same car as i have, i really dont like coupes, i thinkits just the bumpers that put me off. The interior in the one above is nice.

My gsi was £5600 in feb 09 with 42k fsh

exactly how i feel mate. if i could get a gsi front bumper for a coupe, it'd be perfect.

back bumper is fine, nice and simple.
