Then do what I said above, buy a bus pass. I'm sorry but you can't be that bothered if you aren't going to take action.
Perhaps you should think about how petrol prices drop and rise before you buy a car.

Not what I said Ian W.
I was just saying people should just think about possible changes to prices of petrol and if they could afford the extra £2.80 a week.

You buy clothes that are over £25 (assuming)
Do you think the clothes are worth £25?

Do you think it costs them £25 to make the clothing?

If yes to is it worth £25; why?

Not my point.
My point is, whether clothes are worth it or not; you are being shafted yet you don't complain. You don't wait for a sale to get new clothes, if you need new clothes you get new clothes; as in if you need more petrol, you BUY more petrol. Stop with the bitching about prices people.
Cars are a hobby. It is not a legal obligation to have one.

What has the cars value got to do with how much petrol is? Petrol is the same price for a car worth £500 & £100k! I don't think people are moaning about the fact they can't afford it's the fact that we're basically paying for our governments debts, most of fuel prices are tax! End of the day if we choose to drive we pay for it, I'm not too fussed otherwise I wouldn't have bought a car with a 2.3 turbo engine! But it doesn't mean it's not a liberty!
